The responsibilities will include,
but are not limited to :
• Certification training to our EMEA partners
and their distribution network (English)
• Maintenance of materiel/inventory and set up of training
classes
• Design and creation of training modules and manuals
(English)
The role consists of two inter-related objectives:
develop and/or update course materials for both new products/services
and existing product updates, and deliver quality classroom
instruction for telecommunications/networking/VoIP-based products.
The Technical Instructor will be responsible for working with
the course development team, instructors and marketing managers,
in the development and delivery of courseware. Other duties
include, working on special projects as needed; gaining practical
field experience; proctoring test-outs; providing on-site
training, as required; preparing the classroom for upcoming
classes. This position will be home-based and will require
a road warrior with high motivation and flexibility while
traveling extensively across EMEA.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Deliver high quality, high value classes
to customers to support the goal of preparing students to
sell, implement, and support vendor-specific products as well
as generic VoIP/Telecommunications/Networking courses.
• Working in the role of instructor conduct classes
and labs, manage classroom environment, and ensure students
have the maximum opportunity to be successful in meeting course
objectives.
• Uphold Argilon class standards for pre-class preparation,
in-class follow-up of customer & reseller issues, and
post-class procedures as defined in class preparation checklists.
• Be responsive to the needs of students and follow-up
on all student issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and maintain test system for the purpose of
testing new products and development course & lab content.
• Working with the department support the development
of a course curriculum strategy and, as assigned, execute
that strategy that conforms to the agreed standards for Argilon
courses and is consistent with other course materials.
• Create high-quality VoIP/Telecommunications/Networking
courseware.
• Participate in practical field projects, maintain
technical certifications, obtain new certifications, and pursue
professional development goals that increase personal job
satisfaction and professional value to the department.
• Participate in projects to help market education externally.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
– Computer Science or similar
• Minimum of two years systems engineer experience
• Proven excellence with customer facing activities
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willing
to address complex problems with minimal direction
• Experience with Client/Server, IP, Networking computing
• Familiarity with programming concepts given additional
consideration
• Telephony experience is a bonus
• Windows 2000/2003, Microsoft Exchange, Linux experience
Languages: English (second
language: German, Polish, Arab or French preferable)
